*wrings hands*

OK....the airfare from Montreal came down to $287. But, if I buy it and then can't go, that's $287 I've thrown away. But, if I don't buy it, it might go up (although the arifare on Hotwire has typically been hovering around $300, so it's not like if I don't buy it, I'm going to miss out on a *super* great deal.)

No...no, I can't buy it right now. Rent is due this week, and I have to pay the electric that's past due and I still haven't found a second job. So no, I'm resisting the urge to buy it.

Man...if only the meet tickets weren't so expensive. Even with a discount, they're still so much that my seat better be in both Ian and Mikey's laps! With easy access to Randall's abs! LOL!

*sigh* It's just if the meet tickets weren't so expensive, I'd probably be able to swing it without a second job. I need $600 to just fall in my lap, darn it!

I've heard that airfare prices tend to be their lowest around midnight.

Maybe--I've not checked that. Since I don't have to be there at a certain time, I'm checking Hotwire, as they usually have the lowest fares in exchange for not telling you the times or airlines. Which is OK with me, and so far it's been in my budget of around $300 for airfare.

It's the meet tickets that I need to figure out how to afford--they're pretty expensive.

It's basically because when a person cancels their tickets, the people who work at the airlines tend to put them back up for sale at the end of the night at a cheaper price. I've never tried it but I heard it on TV.

That would probably work for last minute fares mostly. But my trip isn't until the end of July, so I don't think that would work. The airline would just resell the tickets at the same price with that much time to work with.

I know! I thought I'd just be able to get a part time job like *that*, but it hasn't happened. I'm gonna go out this weekend and try to fill out more applications.

Man, I wish I had collected fannish stuff that was actually worth something--I'd throw it all up on EBay! LOL! Maybe I should go through my stuff and see what I have that I don't want anymore. It wouldn't bring much, but maybe it'll bring something.

I agree with Kris we must find a way to get you there..no matter what!
