I'm so easy...

No need to guess which moment of Phelpsie's piece on the SI Sportsman of the Year special had me squeeing at a louder than normal volume level....

(ya gotta click on it and see the full sized one to get the full effect--the thumbnail doesn't do much.)

*shakes head*

I like a really arresting pair of blue eyes, and green eyes are always fun to look at, but when it comes right down to it, I'm *such* a sucker for big, brown, puppy-dog eyes. I can't resist them. It's why my actual puppy, Stanley, gets away with anything and everything, and I see it carries over to people as well.

Which is why I'll always think the guy is gorgeous (outside of the sculpted body.) I just can't resist the eyes!

This is why I must tread very cautiously around brown eyed men. Because those ones with the big puppy dog eyes could probably get me to do just about anything! LOL!

Heh. Oh, I looked at the photo before reading your explanation and was trying to figure out what tiny thing that was prominent in the photo was escaping me - the seeming slight flush? The expression? The ... lips? And then it's his hazel eyes. There's almost a touch of grey in them.

He does have the most beautiful eyes--and long eyelashes too! It's funny how his eyes can switch colors--sometimes they're a really deep chocolate brown, almost black, and other times they're a medium golden brown.

But the SI interview was cute--he was looking slightly flushed. Don't know if it was because he was embarrassed to talk about himself or what.

What did he say in the interview? I doubt that I'll ever get to see it.

It was pretty much just the same old sound bites talking about racing Thorpe in the 200m free, raising the profile of swimming, and why he wanted to give Ian Crocker a chance to win gold. His sisters and his mom were on there as well; his mom talked about when he was his first gold medal, and she started crying during the interview.

Nothing earth shattering, but it was nice to see him anyway. I think one of the Phelps sites will have it online for viewing later tonight. When they do, I'll let you know, so you can try to see it.

Hehe--too bad Michael's in Michigan and his cell phone is turned off (according to the Baltimore paper, as they tried to call about the Sportsman of the Year thing)...I'd like to hear what he thinks about Aaron Peirsol's announcment this week that he's gonna start competing in the 200 freestyle and the 200 IM because he wants to broaden beyond just the backstroke. It's like Aaron--I love ya to death, but Phelpsie is gonna clean your clock in the 200 IM! The IMs are his specialty events!

His mother started crying? That's so cute, especially considering how much time she's had to get used to the information.
